GoSky Hawaii flies two seats: you and your FAA-certified instructor, in an open cockpit, over Oahu's North Shore. Your instructor handles takeoff and landing. You have the view wide open around you and a high-fidelity headset so you can talk with your instructor the whole way. Take the controls if you want to; if you'd rather sit back and take it all in, that's the same flight, same instructor.
We fly mornings and afternoons, seven days a week, so a North Shore flight fits into a normal day, not just an early booking window.
What you might see
Your instructor picks the route on the day, so no two flights follow the exact same line. Depending on conditions you might see turtles in the shallows, surf breaking at Waimea Bay, the Dole pineapple fields, Kaena Point, the colors of the reef below, or the ridge lines of the Waianae range. Low over the island first, then up for the wider view.
Make a North Shore day of it
Most visitors are already out on the North Shore for the day. A GoSky flight works well as the anchor: fly first, then head into Haleiwa for lunch and shave ice, then down to the beaches for the afternoon. We fly mornings and afternoons, so you don't have to build the whole day around an early departure.

Do I need any flying experience?
Will I actually get to fly?
You can take the controls if you want to. Your instructor has a full set of controls at all times.
What will I see from the air?
Your instructor picks the route on the day. You might see turtles in the shallows, the surf at Waimea Bay, the Dole fields, Kaena Point, reef colors, or the Waianae ridge lines.
Can I get photos or video of my flight?
Yes. The Ultimate includes photos and video. Classic and Highlights can add a photo and video package for $138. Two cameras capture high-resolution stills and 4K video; you get all of it, viewed in the hangar and emailed the same day. Guests can't bring their own camera or phone on the flight.
What times can I fly?
